WELCOME TO DOGWOOD GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH

I am so glad that you have found our website.  Dogwood Grove Baptist Church is an exciting place to be right now.  Our family is here for you and your family, and our slogan is “Moving Forward”.  I want to extend a personal invitation to you to come and visit our church.  When you walk through the door our hope is that you will experience the love that is here.

With the New Testament as our pattern and model, our desire is to take the good news of Jesus Christ across the street and across the world.  Our strategy for this is the same strategy Jesus used in ministry.

We REACH OUT to people who need Christ.

Jesus instructed His disciples to “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19-20).  We believe this commission continues to be true.

We LIFT UP Jesus through worship.

In our worship services we desire to publicly bring honor and glory to God.  We gather as a family to sing, to pray, to study the Bible, to hear preaching, and to fellowship with each other.  Worship is more than just a weekly service; it is a lifestyle that seeks to honor God through our actions and attitudes everyday.

We PLUG IN people into the body of Christ.

To know Christ and be a member of “His Family” is one of the greatest blessings of life.  We are made up of people just like you. When we come together we laugh, love, learn, share, care and help each other.  We are bonded together by our common faith in Christ.

We help BUILD UP people in their faith.

We are committed to helping people mature in their spiritual life.  We believe Sunday School provides the small group setting for an interactive study of God’s Word.  In addition to Sunday School for all ages, we also offer various types of discipleship programs, youth and children's programs, Women on a Mission, Men’s Ministry, RA’s and GA’s.

Then we SEND OUT people into ministry.

We believe “every member is a minister.”  Also, every member is unique and gifted for service to God in ministry.  We encourage all members to develop their faith by actively serving the Lord.  We believe in each member sharing his/her faith, being involved in home and foreign mission endeavors, and using God-given talents and abilities for service.
